About the Volvo Club of BC

The Volvo Club of British Columbia is a group of approximately 250 members dedicated to the restoration, preservation, safe operation and enjoyment of Volvos both old and new.

Founded in May 1992, the V.C.B.C. is a non-profit association managed by a group of five directors, who combine their automotive knowledge and enthusiasm to organize a variety of club events. V.C.B.C. holds show and shines, weekend drives, picnics, technical sessions and participates in events such as the Scandinavian Mid Summer Festival and Polofest. We also keep track of events in Washington and Oregon.

Club benefits include a membership card which entitles members to discounts on "over the counter" new and used parts from a variety of Volvo Dealerships and other automotive related companies listed on our website, and in our newsletter. We also provide a membership list which details cars owned and services provided by the members. We offer a variety of Club clothes for sale. At our annual Cates Park Picnic we encourage members to contribute food and/or cash donations which we give to a lower mainland Food Bank.

We welcome any input from our club members and encourage submissions to our tri-annual newsletter. Members can place classified ads in the newsletter and on the website at no charge.

Welcome to the Volvo Club of British Columbia.
